Very interesting question. One way time travel is possible is by travelling really really fast. When you’re moving really really fast, your internal clocks tick slower. As an example, the International Space Station moves at 7.66 km/s around the Earth (that’s about 250 times faster than you should’ve ever moved in a car!). For astronauts spending 6 months onboard the International Space Station, their clocks tick 0.007s slower than they would have if they’d spent those 6 months on Earth. So they’re 0.007s younger than they would’ve been if they’d spent those 6 months on Earth. So it’s like travelling 0.007s into the future! Obviously this isn’t much time travel yet…
Maybe when you’re a scientist, you can come up with ways to move much faster, and therefore time travel further into the future?

Very interesting question, and a great answer already from Meirin 🙂

I also found this article explaining some ways we use ‘time travel’ in every day life: https://spaceplace.nasa.gov/time-travel/en/
