I like science because I love problem-solving, and science is all about solving problems of many different types. I also like science because I find it fascinating what it has made possible/discoverable, I’m still amazed that we’re able to learn anything at all about the world around us.
I like science because it gives me the sense of discovery, of finding something not seen before by anyone. It is the ultimate exploration, never ending because each answer brings more questions!
But funny thing is, all people start as scientists, when we are babies. We explore the world and constantly learn new things. We try all kinds of stuff – that’s experimenting! We even tell others about our findings.
And when we have formed a picture of the world and can formulate expectations, we invent hypotheses – and then test them, of course!
