Question: What is the most important part in your job?

I do research and I teach. Both parts are really important because each part contributes towards improving the future of our planet. By teaching, I am hopefully changing lives and educating my students about how our planet works so they can see for themselves what we may need to do to save it. In my research, I seek to learn more about how Arctic Ocean is responding to climate change so we can improve the way we make computer models to predict future changes. Improved understanding helps us plan for the future better.
