Question: What did you enjoy the most about building electric cars and do you think that we will be able to use fully electric vehicles as we do with petrol and diesel vehicles just now?

  I worked on a very small part of electric cars; the electronics that move power from the batteries to the motors and so control how fast the motors go. I had the interesting challenge of trying to minimise the wasted energy.
  
  I think fully electric cars and vans will take over very soon. Buses and lorries will be harder to switch.
