It is very easy for humans to create objects too heavy for themselves to lift, e.g. I cannot lift the house I am currently sitting in. God making a rock too heavy for God to lift is an incoherent action, but the incoherence lies not in the nature of the action but in the concept of omnipotence. Essentially this paradox boils down to the definition of omnipotence, and what it means to have ‘unlimited’ or very great power.
