I’ve been a scientist now for 4 years! Though I’m kind of a ‘scientist in training’ at the minute! I hope to get professional scientist status later this year!

Great Question,
Ry
I have been researching the Earth now for 11 years roughly! It makes it sound like a long time when you say it like this, but in reality time goes fast!
Initially, I started as a student, learning how to do research and scientist and now I am having to teach others, which is exciting and scary at the same time. The time as student is best in a way, as you are really doing research all the time, whereas now I also have to do a lot of other things. But it is still great, as I work with a lot of nice people!

There has been some gap periods (in-between positions, parental leave), but some 7-8 years in science, and 2 years at last position (just finished).
