      Hi Fernando,

      Thanks for your question.
      Oh yes! There have been a few challenges like that.
      For example recently, I was performing measurements on an antenna to look at how its behaviour changed with temperature. We had developed an algorithm (complex maths) to make sure the behaviour was the same between 0 and 40C. But it actually worked over 0-80C, this was unexpected and to this day we still don’t have a good explanation for it.

      But for me this is the interesting thing about science, and especially its application in the real world. You always see these interesting things crop up, and in my experience when you take the time to investigate it further you learn useful information. So I will be doing this once I can get back into my lab! 🙂
